The HCI Group has extensive experience in helping organisations choose the right EPR system. During these procurements, we have engaged with the major suppliers in the EPR market including: Cerner, EPIC, CSC, System C, Allscripts, InterSystems, Siemens, Cambio, Meditech, among others. This, along with our extensive network of customer and supplier contacts in addition to our global understanding as to how the EPR System works, provides us with an excellent understanding of the EPR market and the variety of functional, technical, service and commercial offerings available.
The basis of the vast majority of our EPR procurements is the use of the OJEU Competitive Dialogue procedure. It is intended for use on complex procurements such as this and allows the Trust the necessary scope and flexibility to explore and test the expertise and understanding of the supplier market in a far more effective manner than the traditional desk-based assessment of written answers to questions that characterises the restricted procurement option.
Importantly, dialogue and negotiation are central to the effective use of the procedure. Our proportionate approach to the use of dialogue will optimise the Trust’s likelihood of achieving the best combination of EPR solution, supplier capability, implementation timescales and price. Value for money can be achieved only if all four of these factors are optimised. This objective underpins our preferred procurement approach. All of our completed EPR procurement have successfully selected Potential Provider which demonstrably meets the Trust’s requirements via a tried and tested, transparent and fair process.
We have a proven methodological approach that will benefit your organisation that includes the following considerations:
Our proven five stage approach will give your organisation all of the tools it needs to make informed decisions in selecting an EPR.
